What is the Community Crisis Center?

Pathways Community Crisis Center of Southwest Idaho (PCCCSI) provides timely de-escalation, early intervention and client stabilization to prevent the need for higher levels of care.

How Long Can a Person Stay?

Ours client can stay up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. A person has the option to stay or leave at any time. If additional care is needed, staff can connect clients to appropriate resources within the community.

What Are Your Hours of Operation?

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

What Services Are Provided?

Clients have immediate access to licensed professional counselors, medical technicians, peer support specialists, and referral assistance for a broad range of other community services as needed. This provides the community a less restrictive, less costly alternative to hospitalization or even, in some cases, incarceration.

What Should a Person Bring to the Community Crisis Center?

PCCCSI provides toiletries, linens, towels, hygienic products, food and clothing. If bringing in medication, please have the up-to-date prescription bottle with person’s name. Due to limited space, a person may bring 1 bag of clothing and personal items. All items are checked in and inventoried by Security.

Is There Parking?

Yes. A person can leave their vehicle in our parking lot overnight. PCCCSI also has a bike rack outside. Security will routinely patrol the facility to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

Are You Near a Bus Stop?

PCCCSI is located across the street from the Boise Towne Square Mall, and takes approximately 7 minutes to walk from the bus stop to our facility. Need to know the route?

Who Can Come to The Community Crisis Center?

We serve any individual over 18 regardless of residential location, race, gender, immigration status, etc.

Can I Be Admitted for Shelter Needs?

Unfortunately, we do not provide shelter for those who need a place to stay. However, we can provide limited case management and resources

Can I Come to the Crisis Center Under the Influence of Alcohol or Substances?

Yes, provided an individual is able to adhere to our code of conduct, is coherent and able to consent to treatment, able to complete all required assessments and does not require acute medical attention for detox symptoms.

Can I Bring My Support Pet to the Crisis Center?

The crisis center only allows working service animals during a clients stay.
